Srila Prabhupada states “If you have no food, you can’t chew your cash money.”
God is the supreme supplier of everything. He alone is the provider of all the food that we eat every day yet in this modern world no one acknowledges his position as the supreme proprietor and provider.
We are not independent of Him although under illusion we think we are.
In the material world everyone is more or less crazy but as soon as we are reinstated as the servants of Krishna then our craziness disappears. A crazy person is an individual who acts irrationally according to regular social norms.
Modern day insanity is caused by our false sense of independence of the Supreme Lord.
Krishna expands himself throughout his creation by his 3 Purusa incarnations.
In most religions people believe that God is everywhere, but in Krishna Consciousness, we learn how he is present in every atom and residing as the super soul within every living being.
As soon as we are reinstated as the servant of Krishna our craziness caused by our false sense of independence disappears.
Krishna is the origin and source of everything. Krishna means and includes everything. When one realizes that, yes, he is God conscious.
Krishna also appears as a person. He is present in the animals and as I mentioned he is in every atom.
Krishna can do whatever he wants because he is totally independent.
God has no limitations in what he does like we do. The Material world is a hard struggle for existence for the living beings.
We are afflicted with four defects: our senses are in perfect, we commit mistakes, we cheat ourselves and others and we live in an illusion.
God has no defects like human beings.
He has a transcendental nature and we humans want to imitate Him.
We want to be perfect but we can’t be perfect due to our Imperfections.
I know a friend who wants to arrange everything in her life to be perfect but despite all her endeavors nothing is perfect and this brings her great frustration. Money can’t buy happiness.
We are eternally perfect living beings’ parts of Krishna, that is our perfect nature but under allusion we try to live a perfect material life separate from Krishna so our material arrangements will not make that happen.
Ultimately, we are subjected to time and we are growing old and wilting on the vine of temporary life.
What is the most amazing thing in every human being? A person sees my mother has died, my father has died, so many friends have died but I think I won’t die. This is living in a state of insanity or total denial due to Narcissism.
Our Hunan beauty and usefulness dissipates like the rose.
The rose is a beautiful flower but very quickly it dissipates and dies.
We are under the influence of the time factor but again under illusion we cannot see it acting upon us.
I recently saw Wayne Newton an American singer in Las Vega the city of sin on TV the other day
He is an old man but by plastic surgery he has no wrinkles he looked terrible actually, like a bionic man with no soul shining through his eyes. He doesn’t want to die or grow old but his fear compels him to artificially look young through spending his fortunes on plastic surgery.
Have you ever seen a picture of Krishna as an old man? No!
Krishna is eternally youthful. Yes. That is his transcendental position but people living in Maya in this mundane modern world cannot understand this fact.
Only Krishna’s Devotee can understand Krishna’s transcendental position.
Actually, Krishna appears by his transcendental power and he tells his friend Arjuna in the Bhagavad-Gita that those people who understand his transcendental appearance will leave this material body at death and never return to this material world that is his promise.
So human life it’s meant to practice the method of how to revive our transcendental vision of who we are and who God is.
Lord Chaitanya who is Krishna Himself has given us a very simple method for reviving our God consciousness by the chanting of the names of God, Hare Krishna.
In this age of quarrel and hypocrisy this is the only effective method for God realization and those who take it up will be surely blessed.
Those who don’t by their own choice will be subjected to the laws of karma which means repeated birth and death.
Krishna consciousness is easily obtained for the simple-minded person who believes in God but difficult for the self-centred narcissistic modern man. Please chant the holy names every day and reap the boon of human life.
